Learning outcomes

  • Design cycle-count samples weighted by value risk and movement velocity.
  • Reconcile physical counts to valuation layers without double-counting transfers.
  • Clear app exception queues with notes auditors can reuse.
  • Produce a close pack: variance summary, supporting photos or scans, and approver trail.

Modules

  1. Valuation language for mixed teams

Align warehouse and finance vocabulary for on-hand, available, reserved, and in-transit stock.

  2. Sampling and count windows

Build count scopes that respect outbound slots while still covering aging SKUs.

  3. Cost layers inside the auditing app

Walk FIFO, weighted average, and standard cost overlays using sample datasets from Taiwan(China) distribution centers.

  4. Exceptions, adjustments, and sign-off

Practice writing adjustment rationales and routing approvals before posting.

Reviews from this course

“Module three’s cost-layer labs mirrored our WMS quirks almost too well. I wanted more time on consignment stock, but the adjustment template is now our default.”
Arun P., finance systems lead
Wei, Kaohsiung — “Short clips of the exception queue were clearer than our vendor’s handbook.”

FAQ

Do I need the same auditing app Autoconnectme demos?

No. Concepts transfer to most valuation review tools. Screenshots use a generic UI so you are not locked to one vendor.

Is this suitable for pure warehouse supervisors?

Yes, if they own cycle counts. Finance partners still benefit from joining the cost-layer module together.

What is a real limitation of this course?

We do not teach full statutory audit procedures or tax provisioning. Teams expecting IFRS deep-dives on impairment testing will need a separate accounting program; this studio stops at operational valuation reviews and evidence quality.

How long does the cohort run?

Four live sessions over three weeks, plus asynchronous labs. Recordings stay available for 90 days.
